A complex set of circumstances created a safety risk to staff in one of the Fleet Assets. I organized and led stakeholders from several business units to confirm the drivers of the risk, and devise maintenance and reporting processes to remove risk.

The Client’s business restructure and sale required asset transfer to a new entity which had stalled. I designed and delivered a rescue plan to reignite the transfer activities, improving performance by a factor of three within two months.

Project Objective: Transition Fleet Manager without service disruption
A long-standing outsourced fleet and accident management arrangement needed to move to two new providers without disrupting day-to-day vehicle operations or the incident data feeding into workplace safety reporting. The transition uncovered problems that hadn't been visible in a stable, long-running contract. I kept the project on track by working through these gaps live: coordinating IT, Cyber and Privacy input, resolving the resulting ambiguity case-by-case rather than letting it stall delivery, and securing go-live for the first vendor on schedule.

I mapped governance forums, engaged workstream leads across several business units, and facilitated technical legal and risk findings into a single repeatable compliance questionnaire — converting what could have been a standalone project into a durable, business-as-usual process.

Two major outsourced service contracts are approaching expiry with no shared internal view on what "good" looks like and insufficient time to run a competitive tender. I'm structuring the renewal across sequenced phases — building stakeholder alignment first, then options assessment, execution support, and a longer-term market strategy. This includes chairing governance forums, maintaining live risk and assumptions registers, and positioning the business to negotiate from a clear, defensible footing rather than reacting to vendor leverage.
